SWANTEC (Scientific Welding And Numerical TEChnology) was founded on 1 June 1999 as a private limited company based on many years research and development in resistance welding and metal forming at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

The core business of SWANTEC is to develop and commercialize professional welding software for simulation and optimization of resistance welding and related processes, as well as to provide consulting service to manufacturing industry.

SWANTEC keeps always in the front line of technology with unique competence in welding expertise and innovative approach to resistance welding.

The company is located in the Science Park Scion-DTU in Lyngby, 10 km north of Copenhagen (location on map).
